Getting Married and Getting a New Apartment

I am not picky when it comes to most things. If my boyfriend wants to take me out to eat, I’ll go anywhere. If a friend wants to see a movie, I’ll see one that just looks okay to me. However, when it came to finding my next apartment, I think I was the pickiest I have ever been in my entire life. I did not want to settle for something since I would be spending the majority of my non work time there. I did a search for apartments in Marietta to find out which apartments in my area were even accepting applicants.

Even with the really nice apartments, I know turnover is pretty common because people move on. They either get married and move in together, they buy a house, they relocate to a new area, or a number of other things. That is why I wanted to check out the nicer apartment listings as well, because I knew that I would probably be happiest in one of them. When I came across the website for the apartments in Marietta, I knew that was where I wanted to be. In fact, when my boyfriend saw the website, he got down on one knee and proposed to me right then and there.

He told me he had been planning this day for a while, and it seemed the perfect time to do it since we would be able to get an apartment there together once we were married. This complex has a fitness center, which is something he really wished his own had at the time. He was mostly concerned with the community amenities, while I was happy about all of the apartment amenities. We did end up getting a two bedroom unit, and we were married just a few weeks later. So many changes, and they are all fantastic ones too!
