If you would have told me that I would be looking at luxury apartments in Washington DC even a few years ago, I would have laughed and told you to quit making jokes. I was content as a stay at home mom taking care of my last boy before he went off to graduate school. Once he left, life took on a very new meaning to me. I was bored, and I decided to fix that. I had always loved visiting DC, and three of my four children live close to there.

I figured it would be the perfect place to move to, and hopefully that would entice my youngest son to move there too once he was done with school. Of course I never really thought about how sophisticated these guys are when it comes to trying to catch people who want to cheat them. However if you think about it, then it is obvious. The casinos have piles and piles of money, people would like to take it from them and not all of them want to do it honestly. At any rate my job is to manage the cameras, although some of the people here do not do the job with cameras. When I graduated from college and started looking for apartments for rent in North Bay Village, thanks to getting hired at a local accounting firm, I knew immediately that I would be living the dream. I couldn’t imagine myself living in Florida right of school with a great job. While many of my friends couldn’t find work or returned to work in cold northern states, I was moving to the sunshine state to start a career in my dream field. Surely it couldn’t get any better. But it did when I found the perfect apartment to move into.

I decided that when my current lease expired that I would look for new place to live. I’m somewhat happy in my current apartment, but I’ve really begun to outgrow it. Now that my family is larger than when I first moved in, I really could use an extra bedroom. I’ve been looking for apartments for rent in Colorado Springs. They have a great school system, and now that my kids are old enough to go to school, I should start thinking about these things. In addition to great schools, this area also has nice neighborhoods where I can imagine myself living.

One of the apartments I’m considering is having a move in special, which is really appealing to me. Whenever I can save a little bit of money, I like to learn more about how I can do that. My spouse told me the best place for us to live would be in some Atlanta luxury apartments because that would allow us to live in the type of surroundings we have been used to, and we could then take our sweet time about looking for a home about a year or so later. I thought this was a fantastic idea. This made a lot more sense instead of racing there, then rushing to find a good place and not being happy with it over the long run. My wife is pretty smart about these things, so I also listen to her, and give her free rein to do a lot of things for us the way she wants to things.

It took me awhile to get hired on with a really good company in the area where I wanted to live. I had been scoping out apartments for rent in 30339 and I really liked the area. Sure, I could have chosen some other area, but I wanted to be near most of my family and friends. I wanted to be near the businesses that I typically frequent and have for years. And I figured it would be best to see if I could find a company in that same area that I could work at. I knew that it might be a long shot, but it never hurts to try. I knew that if I didnt find something in that exact area, I could find something close.

I am not picky when it comes to most things. If my boyfriend wants to take me out to eat, I’ll go anywhere. If a friend wants to see a movie, I’ll see one that just looks okay to me. However, when it came to finding my next apartment, I think I was the pickiest I have ever been in my entire life. I did not want to settle for something since I would be spending the majority of my non work time there. I did a search for apartments in Marietta to find out which apartments in my area were even accepting applicants.

I was grumbling pretty much non-stop when we looked at our budget and saw that we could not swing owning our own home yet. We do not just jump into things. We were tapped out on what we could do with overtime, and our lease at our apartment was up. There was no way we were renewing it. We were wanting to move to one of the Alamo Heights apartments in San Antonio instead. I was not in the mood to be impressed since we were not going to realize our home ownership dream yet. However, I could not help it once we checked out the new apartments in person.

Pictures give you an idea, but then you have to visit to see and feel what a place is like. Having a friendly greeting from our new neighbors before we signed the lease was a real plus. I am a member of a group that recreates all kinds of things for the public. We do wars, futuristic events, and everything in between. Some of it is based in reality, and some is purely imagination. We have a lot of fun with it, and the crowds that gather to watch our re-enactments really enjoy seeing history played out this way. Those are my favorite things to do, but that could be because of the airsoft guns that we just recently bought to help make it more realistic too.

We were using wooden replicas, but it was obvious they were not real guns at all. A small detail like that can really make all the difference between a person just watching a re-enactment or believing that they are actually witnessing something real. Because of the type of group that we are, we are allowed to purchase airsoft guns, which is really cool. They look like the real deal, and the selection we are able to choose from would make any gun enthusiast happy. Continue reading →
