If you would have told me that I would be looking at luxury apartments in Washington DC even a few years ago, I would have laughed and told you to quit making jokes. I was content as a stay at home mom taking care of my last boy before he went off to graduate school. Once he left, life took on a very new meaning to me. I was bored, and I decided to fix that. I had always loved visiting DC, and three of my four children live close to there.
I figured it would be the perfect place to move to, and hopefully that would entice my youngest son to move there too once he was done with school. I picked DC for other reasons too, because I did not want to be the kind of woman who interjected herself into every facet of their grandkids and children’s lives. Continue reading
